Kevin Lasko

Kevin is a graduate of Western University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005.

For well over a decade, Kevin’s practice has focused exclusively on civil litigation with an emphasis on auto insurance, property and product liability claims. Kevin spent several years working directly for one of North America’s pre-eminent home and auto insurance companies. Since 2012 he has been providing legal services to a variety of clients in private practice.

Kevin has been involved in the defence of hundreds of actions and his experience includes both trial and appeal work. He has achieved success with summary judgment and at trial. His decision in Madonis v. Dezotti confirmed the principles for proper conduct of an examination for discovery. His work in the Court of Appeal decision of Abarca v. Vargas helped clarify abuse of process and the multiplicity of legal proceedings.

Over the years, Kevin’s clients have come to count on his blend of collegiality, thoroughness and tenacity when handling matters at all levels of complexity.

In his spare time, Kevin is an avid sports fan and participant. He also enjoys all things “pop culture”.
